Our approach

Educate, Advocate, Serve, Repeat.

We want people with mental illness to achieve better health outcomes. But this mission is not as simple as adding new services to the care continuum. Grassroots Groundwork offers a three-pronged approach to making mental health recovery possible for more people:

Educate community members and non-clinical professionals on ways to offer evidence-based support to people with mental illness

Advocate for improved crisis response across the board and facilitate opportunities for providers of services & basics needs resources to improve their response protocols

Provide local residents Peer Support and Community Health Worker services to develop individualized recovery goals and receive support in reaching their goals
